6th Edition (November 2024)
These regulations apply to all participants in events and tournaments
The only BEYBLADE (hereafter referred to as "Bey") that can be used is the BEYBLADE X series, which was officially released and distributed in your own country from July 2023. No previous Beys, launchers, stadiums, or tools may be used.
All decisions regarding Bey checks and battle outcomes must be followed according to the judge's rulings.
Any unauthorized modifications or actions deemed intentional cheating may result in disqualification.
Only official Beyblade X series parts are allowed for customization.
You cannot omit parts or assemble them in unintended ways.
Disassembling or modifying official Bey parts is prohibited.
Parts with altered or enhanced performance are not allowed.
After presenting your Bey, you cannot change it unless the judge allows it. If changes are permitted, both players may exchange their Beys.
Omitting parts that should be used, or combining parts in ways other than their intended use, is prohibited.
The use of "disassembled" or "modified" official parts such as launchers and grips is prohibited.
The use of parts whose original performance has been altered or enhanced is prohibited.
If the judge determines that the launcher, grip, or any other parts have been modified or are defective, the use of those parts will be prohibited.
Only stadiums from the "Beyblade X" series can be used.
A stadium consists of the stadium body and the stadium cover.
The shoot area refers to the hole in the center of the stadium cover.
The Xtreme Line refers to the rail parts fixed to the stadium body.
The Over Zone refers to the two pockets located at the front left and right of the Xtreme Stadium.
The Xtreme Zone refers to the hole located at the center front of the Xtreme Stadium.
The Battle Zone refers to the parts of the Xtreme Stadium body other than the Over Zone and Xtreme Zone.
The Over Zone refers to the hole located at the center front of the Wide Xtreme Stadium.
The Xtreme Zone refers to the two holes located at the back left and right of the Wide Xtreme Stadium.
The Battle Zone refers to the parts of the Wide Xtreme Stadium body other than the Over Zone and Xtreme Zone.
When launching your Bey, shoot from a height of 20 cm or less above the stadium body.
It is prohibited to obstruct the opponent's launch with your launch stance or any other means. Under no circumstances should a player's body, launcher, decorations, etc., touch the stadium during the launch.
Decide the shoot position (left position, right position, center position) by a fair means such as rock-paper-scissors. The chosen shoot position cannot be changed during that match.
Shoot with the call "Three, Two, One, Go Shoot".
Shoot your Bey so that it passes through the shoot area.
When the judge calls "Three, Two, One, Go Shoot", launch your Bey during the call of "Shoot".
Do not shoot your Bey while keeping it grounded in the stadium.
After shooting, step back one step.
Do not peer into the stadium.
These are considered shooting errors:
Shooting before "shoot" is a premature launch. Shooting after the call is a delayed launch.
Judges will determine shooting errors and caution players accordingly.
Battle begins when all Beys pass through the shoot area and touch the stadium. If Beys collide in air or parts come off before touching stadium, the battle restarts.
Ask questions immediately. Opinions after the next battle starts or from non-players will not be accepted.
Do not touch the stadium or Beys until the judge gives permission.
If the judge determines dangerous play or unfair conditions, the battle will stop and restart.
The Bey that continues to spin in the battle zone longer than the opponent's Bey wins.
Decisions regarding outcomes and finishing moves must follow the judge's rulings.
If the battle starts without any shooting errors, premature launches, or delayed launches, points are awarded based on the following finishing moves. The first to earn 4 points wins the match.
Finishing Move | Points Earned |
---|---|
Xtreme Finish | 3 Points |
Over Finish | 2 Points |
Burst Finish | 2 Points |
Spin Finish | 1 Point |
It is considered as a Reverse if the entire Bey, after entering the Xtreme zone or over zone or after leaving the stadium once, returns to the battle zone while maintaining its rotation. In this case, the Xtreme finish, over finish, or restart is canceled, and the battle continues.
If a Bey exits from the Over Zone or Xtreme Zone pocket but returns to the battle zone spinning face down (with the tip/bit facing upward), this is considered an invalid reversal. The finishing move (Over Finish or Xtreme Finish) will be awarded, and the battle ends.
For a reversal to be valid, the Bey must return to the battle zone while maintaining its proper spinning orientation (tip/bit facing downward).

Note: The following rules are specific to the Beyblade X Davao Tournaments and may modify or supplement the standard Beyblade X Regulations. These custom rules take precedence over the standard regulations for this event.
• Decks are locked from the first round of Swiss until the finals.
• Deck boxes must be left on a designated area to prevent part changes.
• Players can only take their deck box when called for a match and must return it to the table after the match.
• Deck box is not required but is highly encouraged. Players can use paper bags, cardboard boxes, or anything that can hold their beyblades so it does not mix up with another player's deck.
• Judges will notify players of any checks (e.g., aerial collision, early/late launch) at the start of a match.
• Players can only contest a decision during the battle before the result is declared. If a battle ends too quickly to contest, the judge will review and make a decision.
• The judge's decision is final, but players can request a second opinion from the Head Judge if unsatisfied provided that the player notified the judge to request for a review before a result has been made.
• During the review period, players are not allowed to view any footage while the judge has not made a decision.
• Judges must not tell the Head Judge their judgment so the Head Judge can make their own independent decision based on the footage.
• Players caught changing parts during the tournament will be disqualified.
Part changes are allowed only if:
• Each deck must consist of 6 Beyblades with no repeating parts across both decks.
• Players must submit their deck lists before the tournament for verification.
• If repeating parts are discovered during the tournament, the player will be disqualified.
• We will ensure that no double entry matches up on Round 1.
• If both of a player's entries are matched against each other, the player can choose which entry receives a 4-0 score.
• If a player is called and does not show up:
If the player is absent:
• The tournament will use Challonge with a 2-stage format:
• If there's an odd number of participants, a Bye player will be added. Matches against the Bye player will result in a 4-3 score.
Tiebreakers will be decided in this order:
